Conti’s Pastry Shop and Restaurant serves delicious pastries and dishes at reasonable prices.
It has a wide menu offering and I’ve tried a number of dishes already. So far, there is none that I can say didn’t fulfil my palate’s expectations.
For the nth time, my friends and I visited Conti’s Restaurant to enjoy a good brunch.
As expected, almost all tables were taken when we arrived.
Waiters are very attentive and systematic that our orders were taken and served fast.
For drinks, we ordered Bottomless Lemonade (P75) and Mango Banana Yoghurt Shake (P120).
Lemonade tasted okay. There is nothing unusual about it. But I like that it has the right level of sourness.
The Mango Banana Yoghurt Shake is very smooth. The thickness of the shake is just right.
The Batangas Pork Adobo (P175) is served with garlic rice and generous serving of mashed hardboiled egg with minced tomatoes. The egg-tomato mixture balances the taste of the adobo.
I wish they would have a chicken or a combination of pork and chicken version of this dish.
Garlic Longganisa (P185) is served with garlic rice, fluffy scrambled eggs and pickled vegetables. Don’t be fooled with the size of the longganisa. Though small, it is packed with so much flavour.
The key to enjoy this best is to finish it while it’s still hot. Be delighted with the crispiness of the skin and the softness of the filling.
Lastly, the Fresh Lumpia (P80) is really worth ordering. Each serving has two pieces of lumpia filled with generous amount of the ubod mixture. It is so soft and tasted really fresh.
